AlmaLusa Alfama

AlmaLusa Alfama is the third property of the AlmaLusa Hotels brand. In the heart of Lisbon, in the charming Campo das Cebolas square, AlmaLusa Alfama is just a stone’s throw from the Tagus riverbank, close to the majestic Cathedral (Sé de Lisboa), and within walking distance from the main attractions, fado bars, viewpoints, shops, and restaurants.

The boutique hotel occupies a building dating back to the 12th century, meticulously renovated to honour its past while embracing the present. Inspired by the enchanting Alfama neighbourhood and the timeless allure of Mediterranean style, the design weaves soft, soothing colours, natural materials, and architectural details that evoke a sense of timeless beauty and create an ambiance of serenity.

Guests are invited to fully enjoy the immersive experience offered by our 25-room property.
At Delfina Café, guests can savour their meals in the outdoor dining area, amidst the gentle breeze and the enchanting ambiance of the Alfama neighbourhood. Our Reception area serves as the gateway to personalized service and warm hospitality, where our attentive staff awaits to cater to your every need.

Alfama, one of Lisbon's oldest and most charming neighbourhoods, is a captivating blend of history, authenticity, and vibrant culture. Nestled on a hillside overlooking the Tagus River, this atmospheric district offers a unique glimpse into the city's rich heritage.

With narrow winding streets, cobblestone alleys, and traditional tiled houses, Alfama exudes a nostalgic ambiance that harks back to Lisbon's Moorish and medieval past. The neighbourhood's labyrinthine layout invites exploration, as each corner reveals hidden treasures, from picturesque squares to stunning viewpoints that offer panoramic views of the city.

As you stroll through Alfama, you'll encounter charming small shops selling traditional crafts, vibrant street art adorning walls, and inviting cafes and restaurants serving authentic Portuguese cuisine.
