Comporta

Only 1h30 away from Lisbon and the main Portuguese airport, Comporta is the ideal destination for
those who want to discover an off the beaten path location on the Alentejo coast.

Unlike any other place in Portugal, it is also an oasis also worth discovering by those who
choose to spend their holidays in the country. Pine trees, rice fields, river, sea, white sand
beaches and an abundance of wildlife will make you feel like you are spending your holiday
in the most unique destination.

AlmaLusa Comporta

AlmaLusa is conveniently located in the heart of the village of Comporta. Local stores,
coffee shops and restaurants are easily accessible on foot and by bike. Other
establishments and services – such as the medical centre and bank – are also a short
distance away. The nearest beach is only a 15-minute walk from the hotel - which means
you will not need your own vehicle during your stay with us.

If you wish to travel longer distances, whether to discover other beaches or visit local attractions,
our reception can assist with shuttles, car rentals and taxi bookings.

How to get to AlmaLusa Comporta?

If you are travelling without a car, we advise you to take public transportation to Setúbal (which
will change according to your departure point) and take a catamaran to Troia. You can also travel
by train to Alcácer do Sal or Grândola.

If you are travelling by car, from north to south, you will have 2 options:
You can cross the Vasco da Gama bridge, take the A12 and A2, take exit 8, to Alcácer do Sal,
take IC1 and N253 until Pedro Nunes Street – where you will find AlmaLusa Comporta.

If you would rather enjoy the views, we advise you to cross the 25 de Abril bridge – over the
Tagus River – and take A2 direction South. Take exit 5 and then A12 to Setúbal. You will find
instructions to get to Atlantic Ferries. When crossing the Sado River, relax and enjoy the views.
Once you get to Troia, travel about 13km along N253-1 (15-minute drive) until you reach AlmaLusa Comporta.

We advise you to check the ferry and catamaran schedules on www.atlanticferries.pt.
